the couldrey house is located on the outskirts of brisbane, australia. in the beautiful natural environment, shaded by trees, uk architect peter besley tried to create a unique house for the client. the brick and mortar facade chosen by the architect gave the building a distinctive appearance that was well received by the locals.
aalborgwhite cement-based brick mortar overflows between the bricks with the right consistency, creating a "strong horizontal effect like corduroy" and smoothing out the standardized masonry appearance of the bricks, allowing the brick walls to form a unified whole.
